What is urban forestry?
Urban forestry is the planning for, and management of trees (individually and collectively) in urban settings or developed areas. Urban forestry advocates the role of trees as a critical component of the urban environment; i.e. green infrastructure.Arboriculture refers to the care and maintenance of individual trees (e.g. planting, pruning, fertilization, removal).
