DUP: Tree root system enhancement with paclobutrazol

Paclobutrazol (PBZ) was applied as a basal soil injection or drench at 2 g a.i. per inch dbh. PBZ treatment was effective in stimulating fine root development of established pin oaks (Quercus palustris) and white oaks (Q. alba).
