Species diversity of three major urban forest types in Guangzhou City, China

Reference Type
Journal, Research (Article)

The objectives of this study are to comprehensively evaluate tree species diversity in Guangzhou, including species frequency, spatial distribution, and dominance in various habitats, land uses, and districts with distinctive development characters. The study explores the association between species composition vs. land-use (habitat type), and urban development (modes and history). The determinants of species composition in the city and their management implications are to be assessed. [UMN]
