Planter vegetation in urban Hong Kong

The objectives of this study are "(1) to investigate the species composition, physiognomy and growth performance of planter vegetation in the central business district, industrial and residential areas: and (2) to examine growth problems of the planter vegetation in these urban areas. Results obtained from this study are compared against those for roadside trees in an attempt to generalize the characteristics of landscape planting in this tropical city. [UMN]
