Bush Honeysuckles (Connecticut)
This information sheet describes the methods necessary to remove this invasive plant in Connecticut.
These dense shrubs inhibit native plant growth. There are methods for removal, but most of the require reapplication and maintenance. Bush honesuckles include Belle's honeysuckle (Lonicera x bella), Morrow's honeysuckle (L. morrowii), Amur honeysuckle (L. maackii), Tatarian honeysuckle (L. tatarica), European fly-honeysuckle (L. xylosteum).
