Newborn, GA: STRATUM Complete Street Tree Inventory
STRATUM is the street tree inventory cost/benefit analysis software program within the i-Tree suite of urban forest applications. The program was not initially intended to be compatible with a GIS. A method was developed to use STRATUM with GPS field equipment to provide more information about the urban forest to managers and non-governmental organizations.
This poster, presented at the 2006 Georgia Urban Forestry Council annual meeting at Jekyll Island, outlines how data were collected for a complete street tree inventory, the reports that were generated, and recommendations for a small community in Georgia. [EK]
