Selecting, Planting and Caring for Shrubs and Trees in the Maine Landscape
This factsheet contains information on plant selection, transporting wild plants, available plants from nurseries, and how to plant trees and shrubs in Maine landscapes.
All Maine Landscapes may be embellished through the planting of native and introduced trees and shrubs. These woody plants add to the home landscape in many ways: they provide a source of shade to otherwise open areas and protect the home from forceful winds.
