The paper discusses the possible renovation techniques of vacant lots where illegal dumping has occurred.

Trees can play a useful role in preventing further illegal dumping and beautifying abandoned land.  Once the vacant lots have been cleaned up, planted trees will improve the aesthetic and economic value of the community.
